Kaye Kerr

Principal

Kaye Kerr began her career with the New York City public school system in the Spring of 1993 as a Middle School Mathematics teacher.  Over her 29 years of service, she has served as a classroom teacher for 10 years, a Middle School Mathematics coach for 3 years, and a Middle School Assistant Principal for 11 years.  Mrs. Kerr joined the City Knoll Middle School community in August 2017 and has served as the Principal of the school for the past five years.  Mrs. Kerr holds a Bachelor of Art degree (BA) in Mathematics from Hampton University, a Master of Science degree (MSEd) in Mathematics Secondary Education from Queens College, and a Master of Arts (MA) in Supervision and Administration from Baruch College.

Alana Jermanok

Assistant Principal

Alana Jermanok is a 25-year veteran of the NYC public school system.  She  joined the City Knoll Middle School Community in the Fall of 2017 after serving as an elementary school assistant principal on the Lower East Side of Manhattan for 11 years.  Prior to her work as an Assistant Principal, Ms. Jermanok was a literacy coach for Grades 3 through 8 as well as a classroom teacher in Grades 4, 5 and 6.  Ms. Jermanok holds an undergraduate degree from Union College, a Master of Arts (MA) in Curriculum and Teaching, Elementary Education from Teachers College at Columbia University and an MA in Education Administration from Baruch College.
